I might’ve thrown away the perfect career… to chase something that didn’t exist.

In 2016, I walked away from becoming sales & marketing director for a leading housebuilder, the kind of role people work years for.

Why?

Because I was fed up.

I’d been on the client side. And the agency support for SME housebuilders? Rubbish.

We’d just had our first child. My wife wasn’t working. If this failed, we were literally homeless.

Friends said I was crazy.

And when Covid hit, I thought ‘this is it’. Game over.

There have been moments along the journey where I’ve thought, should I just get a job again? Play it safe?

But the hunger never leaves. I want to build something better for SME housebuilders.

Now? We’re 8 years in. And ANTLER works with brands I used to dream of.
The kind of names I once drove past and thought ‘one day’ – now they’re our clients.
