Thakeham is building its first net carbon zero homes in Burgess Hill, West Sussex, along with some of the UKs first ‘zero energy bills homes’ in partnership with Octopus. This innovative model of forward-thinking sustainable development is a first for Thakeham. Thakeham requested support from Antler with messaging and creative ideas, to communicate this unique proposition clearly but in a fresh and compelling way.
SOLUTION:
Antler undertook a messaging workshop, to answer the question ‘What is the problem the customer is facing, which Thakeham has the ability to solve’. In the answer to this question lies the basis of the most compelling marketing. Antler determined the answer was nuanced. That whilst customers are looking to reduce their carbon footprint, and their energy bills – this alone isn’t necessarily enough of a ‘problem’ to cause a purchaser to buy. Antler therefore dovetailed this energy efficiency/energy saving messaging with strong brand messaging to create a very compelling pull. Antler further visualised this in creative concepts to bring the messaging to life.
